Kurtz Lawn Care opened the 2009 season on the road at Greensburg with a 6 - 2 victory. The first 15 minutes of the first half was evenly played until Austin Schutte scored off assists from Kassidy Kase and Daniel Mullen. Towards the end of the first half, Mullen scored off of an assist by Joe Freyer. Kurtz Lawn Care played strong defense in the first hald led by Matt Dennis and Justin Paul. Josh Keith scored form 18 yards out early in the second half off a rebound of a Mullen shot. This was quickly followed by a goal by Kase off assists by Mullen and Freyer. Greensburg got on the scoring board next when Zach Fong broke through the defense for a goal. Kurtz Lawn Care responded with a goal by Mullen off a give and go by Kase. Kase finished the scoring for Kurtz Lawn Care scoring on a breakaway down the right side. Taylor Reed scored late in the half to complete the scoring for Greensburg. Batesville defense was led by Matt Dennis, Justin Paul and Jacob Meyer.

Batesville's Kurtz Lawn Care defeated Sunman's Quality Auto 3 - 1 on Saturday Aug 22nd. The game started out very evenly played through the first 15 minutes until Batesville's Kassidy Kase scored on assist from Chris Nurrenberg. About 5 minutes later, Kase got free on a breakaway to make it 2 - 0.
After halftime, Batesville had several good scoring chances turned away by the Sunman defense. Sunman scored about 15 minutes into the 2nd half to tighten up the game 2 -1. But Kase broke free again to record his third goal of the game and complete the scoring. Batesville's defense was led by Jacob Meyer, Josh Keith, Leo Giesey and Austin Schutte.

Batesville's ETC defeated Batesville's Kurtz Lawn Care 4 - 0 on Saturday Aug 29th. Batesville's ETC controlled the first half of the game scoring 3 goals to take a 3 - 0 halftime lead. Scoring for ETC were Luis Davalos (2 goals) and Rick Linville.
After halftime, Batesville Kurtz Lawn Care played stronger but was unable to capitalize on several scoring opportunities. ETC's Dillon Westerfeld completed the scoring resulting in the 4- 0 final score. Kurtz Lawn Care's defense was led by Justin Paul and Kohlson Voss.
